Trey and Tara Beth welcomed Foster Laine into the world a few months ago, and we couldn’t have been more excited about it! So, while we were down in their neck of the woods for “Flannel Fest”, we decided to squeeze in a little family session. We spent an hour or so in the morning together before the grandparents came to whisk Foster away for the weekend. She was such a joy and ease to photograph. They all were, really. The tree in the nursery was handmade by Tara and our good friend, Hope, and it really ties the Pooh theme of the nursery together. I’m looking forward to many more years of shooting this lovely family.

All shot with a Mamiya 645AF and a Mamiya-Sekor “C” 80mm f/1.9 on Fuji Pro 400H and Kodak Portra 800 and developed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.

The Dressel Family

Ron is a photographer, and being such, doesn’t spend a great deal of time on the business side of a lens. That isn’t to stay he isn’t photogenic, more to iterate the fact that in their going-on 9 years of marriage, he and Amie have had very few professional photos made. It goes without saying that I was thrilled to be selected to remedy the aforementioned lack of visual documentation of their ongoing, and still blatantly obvious, love and affection for each other. We shot on two different days in two of the lovely parks that Charlottesville has to offer. We couldn’t have asked for better fall weather. Their beautiful pups even made brief cameos. Thanks, Ron and Amie, for having me take these for you. I hope you treasure them for many happy years to come!

These were all shot with a Mamiya 645AF and a Mamiya-Sekor “C” 80mm f/1.9 or Mamiya 45mm f/2.8 on Kodak Portra 160 and Portra 400 and were developed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.
