A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting some promotional photos for this year’s Rock and Shop Market. The shoot was a blast, and I’m really happy I was able to help with such a great showcase of some of North Carolina’s finest artisans and crafters. This is only a handful of the people who will be featured in the Market, but it should whet your palate for what you’ll see and experience this December 17. Our wonderfully natural model, Whitney, is a double threat and also created the leather bags seen below.
Here’s a short blurb about this year’s Market…
“The Rock & Shop Market is a hip, juried craft show featuring over 100 curated emerging designers selling their handmade wares, plus a fashion show, live bands and food trucks. This year’s event will take place from 12-6pm at three locations that are across from one another in Durham, NC: Motorco Music Hall, Fullsteam Brewery & The Trotter Building. The bands that are playing this year’s event are The Small Ponds & Phil Cook & His Feat.”
All of these were shot with a Mamiya 645AF with a Sekor-C 80mm f/1.9 on Kodak Portra 400 and processed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.
